Arya underneath the red keep, from the first book in game of  thrones. This scene always stood out to me, because of how alive the castle seems. Very quick sketch, may come back to this idea. Reference used.

So the character of the week challenge this week is 'Zombie Pop Culture', basically just to take popular characters from film/tv/whatever and turn them into zombies.

I went with Daft Punk (if not obvious), not really sure if it's coming together or not at the moment.

"The Sidekick" Final - Widow

Finally done...with about three hours to spare. Fairly happy with how it came out.

Based on some feedback I got from the first WIP, I redesigned the original character so it was more closely related to spider man.

This is about 90% complete, still need to render a few areas out properly (mostly the face, right hand and helicopter in background).

Character of The Week - The Sidekick WIP

"Take a well known super hero who fights alone and create them a helpful (or not possible not so helpful) buddy."

As someone who isn't really into comics this challenge is a bit...challenging. The idea i've come up is a female companion to Spiderman called...Black Widow. (SPIDERS RIGHT?)

Also it has to be presented as a comic book cover.

Feel like I've come as far with this as I can. Realistically needed to spend more time putting down the values so stuff doesn't look so flat. Lesson learned.

This is for the Character of the week challenge at conceptart.org, the theme this week is 'Spirit of Winter'. This is one of my early sketches for it, I've done a few different character ideas but this one stuck out to me the most.

A bigger picture of the character design I'm working on. It's supposed to be Little red riding hood. The actual character design is pretty bland, as I'm treating this as more of a rendering challenge. Can I make it look how I want it to look? At the moment...no.
